I think the best way for you to get your site in front of your customers is to deliver something they want and need. Since you are in the carpet cleaning business why not add a blog to your site that provides hints and tips on how to get rid of certain common household stains. You might say well that would hurt my business but if your tips work they know you service works and the reality is that most consumers won’t have the time or desire to tackle ever stain in the home especially if they have several children. You can even offer videos that you show you removing the stain using your written instructions in the blog.
I would also ask what specific key words are you interested in having your site appear at the top of the search engines? If you are looking for the number one spot on the key word “carpet cleaning” you are looking in the wrong direction; as your not reaching your specific audiences as I am sure you don’t service any one in the world. So focus on key words like Tampa Florida Carpet Cleaning or Tampa Cleaning Services to get more direct qualified target traffic to your site.
Last, I would recommend listing your site on the search engine map directories. For example you can add your site to the google local business directory by clicking here.
